RarifyとGantriによる初のコラボプロダクト「Cube One™」

モジュール式デザイン、持続可能性、そしてコレクタブルな職人技の新たな可能性を追求するRarifyは、革新的な照明メーカーGantriとのコラボレーションにより、初のオリジナル製品「Cube One™」を発表した。

この限定版照明は、2025年5月17日にニューヨークにて開催されたNYCxDesign期間中に発売が開始された。イベントはニューヨークのスタジオ・グアポ（Studio Guapo）がキュレーションを担当した。

このコラボレーションは、RarifyとGantri双方にとって重要な転換点となる。

「Cube One™」は、Gantriが製造する生分解性の3Dプリント照明ユニットと、USMの代表的なプロダクトであるモジュール式家具「USMハラー」を融合させたものである。

USMハラーは、クリーンなラインと高いコレクタビリティで知られるスイスの象徴的なプロダクトである。このシステムと融合することで生まれたのは、テーブルランプとして機能するキューブ型照明器具でありながら、大型家具、吊り下げ照明、照明壁面、さらには建築インスタレーションへと拡張可能なモジュール構造である。

持続可能性とオンデマンド製造

Cube One™の照明インサートはアメリカ国内で製造されており、地域生産を保証するとともに、最小注文数なしでスケーラブルなオンデマンド製造を可能にしている。

New York, NY — In a bold exploration of modular design, sustainability, and collectible craftsmanship, Rarify— the independent, designer-led source for vintage and contemporary design—announces the debut of its first original product, Cube OneTM, in collaboration with innovative lighting manufacturer Gantri. The new limited-edition lamp will launch during NYCxDesign on May 17, 2025, in New York City. The event is curated by NYC’s Studio Guapo.

This collaboration marks a turning point for both brands— for Rarify, Cube OneTM is their first in-house designed product, while Gantri celebrates their launch of Gantri Made, a first-of-its-kind digital manufaturing platform for the next generration of designers and brands.

The Rarify x Gantri lamp unites biodegradable, 3D-printed lighting inserts made by Gantri with both vintage and newly manufactured components from USM Haller, the iconic Swiss design system known for its clean lines and enduring collectability. The result is a striking, cubiform fixture that functions as a tabletop lamp, but is engineered as a modular system capable of evolving into larger-scale furniture, hanging fixtures, illuminated walls, or even architectural installations.

A physical embodiment of Rarify and Gantri’s shared passion for true sustainability, modularity, and design accessibility, the Cube OneTM lamp insert is manufactured in the United States, ensuring localized production while supporting scalable, on-demand manufacturing without minimums.

At the end of its long lifecycle, the Gantri lighting insert can be removed and disposed of sustainably, while USM components retain their full collectible value, untouched and unmodified. It’s a next-generation product that reflects the future of design: circular, customizable and timeless.
