横浜市の高台に建つ木造2階建ての戸建て住宅である。
12区画からなる新規分譲地だったため、周囲の建物がどのように建ち並ぶかを想定しながら設計をスタートした。特に借景側に建つ崖下の建物高さに注意を払い、2階にLDKを配置した。
遠景の空だけを切り取るのではなく、窓枠によって切り取られた借景の中に生活の一部を溶け込ませられないかと考えた計画である。（茂木 哲）
A house to enjoy a borrowed view in daily life
This is a two-story wooden detached house on high ground in Yokohama City.
As the site was a new subdivision consisting of 12 lots, we started the design by envisioning how the surrounding buildings would line up with each other. Particular attention was paid to the height of the buildings below the cliff on the borrowed landscape side, and the LDK was placed on the second floor.
The plan was to blend a part of the living space into the borrowed landscape cut by the window frames rather than to cut out only the sky in the distance. (Satoshi Mogi)
