かつて隆盛したリゾートマンションが多く立地するこのエリア。使われなくなった古い住戸を、順次コンドミニアムへと更新していく試みである。最初に選ばれたこの部屋は、これから連なる客室群の原型となる。
・天井に300mmの格子を描き、このグリッドを空間の輪郭、平面の境界の補助線とする。
・腰窓の高さから引かれた、床面から900mmの水平線を規定する。
この2つの至極単純なガイドラインを、すべての平面と立面を結びつける拠り所とし、空間の秩序とする。
ペリメーターの床・壁・天井に塗り込められた濃藍色は、外部の風景を一度切り取り、室内の風景として再構成する。冬には白銀のゲレンデが、夏には新緑の草原が、コントラストに縁取られながら室内に取り込まれる。
この客室を起点に、リゾートマンションの住戸は時間をかけてパッチワークのように順次更新され、徐々にひろがる客室のネットワークが1つのホテルとして運用されていく。

This area is home to many resort condominiums that once flourished. This project involves gradually renovating old, unused units into condominiums. This first selected unit will serve as the prototype for the series of guest rooms to follow.
・A 300mm grid is drawn on the ceiling, and this grid serves as a guide for the space’s outline and the boundaries of the floor plan.
・A horizontal line 900 mm above the floor—drawn from the height of the waist-high windows—is established.
These two extremely simple guidelines serve as the foundation linking all floor plans and elevations, establishing the spatial order.
The deep blue painted onto the perimeter floors, walls, and ceilings first frames the external landscape and then reconstitutes it as an interior scene. In winter, the silvery ski slopes; in summer, the lush green meadows—all are framed by contrast and drawn into the interior.
Starting with this guest room, the units in the resort condominium will be sequentially renovated over time, like a patchwork quilt, and the gradually expanding network of guest rooms will be operated as a single hotel.
