クライアントからいただいていた「the SILK」という店名とコンセプトに沿い、女性専用ピラティススタジオにふさわしいイメージとして、シルクの滑らかさや繭玉の中にいるような安心感を覚える空間を目指した。
温もりを感じるエントランスから、スタジオに向かって真っ直ぐ伸びる通路はライティングとミラーの効果により、歩みを進めるうちにまるで異世界へ移動しているような気持ちの高揚感や、新しい自分に生まれ変わる期待を感じさせる。
メインスタジオは十分なマシンを設置するためのシンプルな設計、パーソナルスタジオはダウンライトなしで包まれるような心地よさを感じるライティングと、可能な限り他者との接点をつくらない動線を実現した。（有本祐介＋更谷祐香）
Pilates studio like being in a cocoon ball
In keeping with the name and concept of “the SILK” by the client, we aimed to create an image appropriate for a women-only Pilates studio, a space where one feel the smoothness of silk and the security of being inside a cocoon ball.
From the soft atmosphere of the entrance, as you walk straight to the aisle toward the studio, the lighting and mirror effects make you feel as if you are moving to another world and are being reborn as a new you.
The main studio was designed to be simple enough to accommodate a sufficient number of machines. In contrast, the personal studio was designed without downlights to create comfortable, enveloping lighting and a flow line that creates as few points of contact with others as possible.
