開業50周年を迎えた玉川髙島屋ショッピングセンターのリニューアルプロジェクト。
デザインプロデュースを担当したSOLSO FARMが提唱するモロカンスタイル×西海岸スタイルを基に、5つのパヴィリオンを設計した。
具体的には既存の建物と外部をつなぐ円形の庇、ブランコベンチがぶら下がる小屋、アーチで構成された回廊、長さ14mのロングテーブル、屋上からの眺望を楽しむカウンター。
それぞれが明快なキャラクターとなる異なる素材感や意匠をもちながら、動線や視線、植物の連続によってつなげていくことで”心地よいノイズ”をつくり、来訪者がそれぞれのお気に入りのノイズを見つけていくことを目指した。（梅澤竜也）
A pavilion that connects different characters and creates noise
This is a renewal project for the Tamagawa Takashimaya S・C, celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Five pavilions were designed based on the Moroccan style x West Coast style advocated by SOLSO FARM, which was in charge of design production.
Specifically, they are a circular eave connecting the existing building to the outside, a shed with hanging swing benches, a corridor composed of arches, a long table 14 meters long, and a counter to enjoy the view from the roof.
Each has a distinct character with different materials and designs, but by connecting them through a series of lines of flow, sight lines, and plants, we aimed to create a “comfortable noise” so that each visitor can find their favorite noise. (Ryuya Umezawa)
