1階LDKの天井高を4mとし、前面道路からの光を敷地奥に配置されたメザニンまで届けるよう配慮した。その内部構成がそのままファサードに奥行きと透明性を与えている。家の中心になるメザニンには趣味とリモートワークが捗るよう、大きなワークカウンターと大容量の棚を設けている。2階には主寝室、子供2人の個室、クローゼット、ロフトなどを機能重視にまとめた。（二宮 博＋菱谷和子）
Residence flooded with sunlight through manipulation of floor height
This single-family house is built on a rectangular shaped lot with a frontage of 5m and a depth of 14m.
The ceiling height of the first floor LDK was set at 4m to allow light from the front road to reach the mezzanine at the site’s rear. This internal composition gives the facade depth and transparency. The mezzanine, the center of the house, has an ample work counter and large shelves for hobbies and remote work, while the main bedroom, two children’s private rooms, a closet, and a loft are functionally arranged on the second floor.
