本プロジェクトは美容室の支店出店である。大人の女性をターゲットにした上品でカワイイ空間＝「大人カワイイ」空間を計画した。
全体的に白の壁というシンプルな構成とし、白の壁はMDF材を乱張りすることで空間にリズムを与え、パステルカラーを部分的に点在させることで大人カワイイを表現している。白い空間をベースにパステルカラーのボリュームや色を制限することで、派手にならない上品さを生み出し、なおかつパステルカラーの部分がより強調される設計としている。
またセット面の可動パーティションは店舗の使い方に変化を与え、実用性と遊び心を両立させている。パーティションによってペアブースをつくったり、半個室に区切ったりと、他のお客様とほどよい距離感を保つことができる設計としている。（林 優佑）
A beauty salon that expresses elegant cuteness with pastel colors
This project was a branch opening of a beauty salon. We planned an elegant and cute space targeting adult women.
The overall composition of the space is simple, with white walls, and the white walls are covered with MDF wood to give the space a rhythm. By limiting the volume and color of pastel colors based on the white space, the design creates elegance without being gaudy while at the same time emphasizing the pastel-colored areas.
The movable partitions on the set surfaces give a change in the way the store is used and are both practical and playful. The partitions can be used to create paired booths or divided into semi-private rooms to maintain a good sense of distance from other customers. (Yusuke Hayashi)
