東京、西日暮里。いくつもの路線が交差し、多くの人が行き交う交通の拠点。
夜遅くまで賑わう繁華街と、その一方で閑静で歴史ある諏訪神社、また開成中学校・高等学校が象徴する「学び」の文化など、多様な要素が複雑に重なり合ったまちである。
その1つの起点である西日暮里駅前に、数年間空き室になっていた建物がある。ここを拠点に、今あるまちの要素と、まちをさらに面白くする新しい種を混ぜ、西日暮里に宿る学びの遺伝子をさらに加速させていく。（宮崎晃吉）
A complex facility that serves as a hub for the city's diverse mix of cultures and further accelerates
Nishi-Nippori, Tokyo. It is a transportation hub where many train lines intersect, and many people come and go.
It is a town with a complex combination of diverse elements, including a busy downtown area that bustles until late at night, a quiet and historic Suwa Shrine, and a culture of “learning” symbolized by Kaisei Junior and Senior High Schools.
In front of Nishi-Nippori Station, one of the town’s starting points, there is a building that has been vacant for several years. Using this building as a base, we will mix the existing elements of the town with new seeds that will make the town even more interesting and further accelerate the gene of learning that resides in Nishi-Nippori.
