近年多くある、物理的には個室であるが圧迫感のある漫画喫茶のような個室美容室ではなく、開放感のある個室をもつ美容室をつくる計画である。テナント長手方向はガラスを使用して目線を遮るものはなく、短手方向のみ900mm幅の木パネルで目線を遮る。各セット面のピッチを広くとり、セットミラーへの映り込みが施術者以外いないという視覚的なプライベート感と、ガラスによって開放感がありながらも音を遮断し、聴覚的なプライベート感をも同時に成立させている。
4×8サイズの合板を用い、900mm幅のラワン合板のパネルを29枚使用して空間を仕切っていく。そこにガラスを嵌め込み、空間を構成していくことで、プレキャスト工法のように現場作業を極力減らすことができた。さまざまな業者の入る工事期間が長くなることで発生する人件費を削減し、内装の分野にておいても工法的な新しさのある案件である。（堀川 塁）
A beauty salon with a private room with a feeling of openness
The plan is to create a beauty salon with a sense of openness, rather than a private beauty salon like a manga cafe, which is physically a private room but has an oppressive feeling. The longitudinal direction of the tenant is made of glass, and there is no obstruction to the line of sight, and only the short direction is obstructed by 900mm wide wooden panels. Furthermore, the pitch of each set surface is wide enough to create a sense of visual privacy, as only the practitioner can see the reflection in the set mirror. At the same time, a sense of auditory privacy, as the glass provides a sense of openness while blocking sound.
Using 4×8 size plywood, 29 panels of 900mm wide lauan plywood will divide the space. Space was constructed by fitting glass into the panels, thus reducing on-site work as much as possible, as in precast construction. This project lowers labor costs caused by the lengthy construction period for various contractors and is a new construction method in interior design. (Rui Horikawa)
