友人でもある施主から依頼を受けたリノベーション案件。
実家を2世帯住宅にし、新しい楽しい暮らしを実現するためにリノベーションをする流れに。
1階の親世帯は、既存を活かしながらのシンプルな内装を施した。2階はものづくりをする施主に合わせ、クリエイティブ な空間を提案。プランに関しては、シンプルな間取りにし、大きな個室は可動収納で分けるなど、用途に合わせてカスタマイズができるようにオープンで効率のよい空間となるように計画した。
内装はナチュラルな白×デニムカラー×木の色味で統一。家具や建具は、鉄骨とラワン合板を使用した。素材感を活かすために、ラワン合板は赤みのあるものを選んだり、小口の積層部を見せるディティールで徹底したりして、取手や蝶番など丁寧に選びデザインした。また、家具の鉄骨部分に関しては施主自ら製作。コラボレーションしながら、一緒に空間をつくっていった。
玄関からすぐ見えるキッチンの、鉄骨格子窓の間仕切り壁面には、古着のデニムでつくったオリジナルのデニムタイルを施し、ディスプレイ壁面のアクセントとした。また、2匹の愛犬のグラフィックやレターグラフィックを散りばめ、遊び心をプラスしている。
全体的な色味を守りつつ、さまざまなアイデアを詰めこんだカジュアルなリノベ空間に仕上げた。（平良玄峰）
Casual renovation that reflects the texture and playfulness
A renovation project was commissioned by the client, who is also a friend.
The family home was to be converted into a two-family house and renovated to create a new and enjoyable lifestyle.
The first floor is a simple interior design that makes the most of the existing structure, while the second floor is a creative space for the client, who is involved in the manufacturing industry. The plan is simple and efficient, with large private rooms divided by movable storage and open and efficient spaces that can be customized to suit the client’s needs.
The interior is unified with natural white, denim, and wood colors. Furniture and fixtures were made of steel frame and lauan plywood. To make the most of the material texture, the lauan plywood was carefully selected and designed with handles and hinges carefully selected and designed by choosing reddish lauan plywood and thoroughly using details that show the laminated parts of the small edges. As for the steel frame portion of the furniture, the client fabricated it himself. The client and I collaborated to create the space together.
Original denim tiles made from old denim clothes were used to accent the partition wall of the steel lattice window in the kitchen, which can be seen from the entrance. The wall is also decorated with graphics of two pet dogs and letter graphics to add a playful touch.
While preserving the overall color palette, we created a casual renovated space filled with various ideas. (Harutaka Taira)
