〈KISSAKI〉は、大阪の繁華街東心斎橋にあるビルの2階にある店舗の計画である。1階から2階ホールまでのアプローチを狭く長く設けて期待感を高める効果を持たせた。
和食店舗のため、店内デザインのベースは和であるが、純和風でも一般的な和風モダンでもなく、侘び寂びの考え方だけを残して独自のスタイルを目指した。
通路を広く取り、カウンター席以外はすべて個室とし、土壁のような質感と古材の取り合わせによって心地よく落ち着く独特な和食空間を提供している。（隈元誠司）
A Japanese restaurant that utilizes the location on the second floor as a device to raise expectations
“KISSAKI” is located on the second floor of a building in Higashi-Shinsaibashi, a busy shopping district in Osaka. The approach from the first floor to the second-floor hall is narrow and long, creating a sense of anticipation.
Since this is a Japanese restaurant, the base of the interior design is Japanese style, but neither pure Japanese style nor general Japanese modern style, but rather a unique style that retains only the wabi-sabi concept.
The restaurant offers a unique Japanese dining space with wide aisles, private rooms for all but the counter seats, and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere created by the combination of clay wall textures and old wood. （Seiji Kumamoto)
