クライアントはワイナリーをつくりたいという夢をもちはじめて、関東から岡山県新見市の山の中の小さな集落に移住してきた。この建築は、10年越しの計画である。
野を越え、畑や山を越え、空は果てしなく広がっているこの地で、ご夫婦はそこに溶け込んでいるような人柄である。その雰囲気からだけでなく、装飾を削ぎ落とし萌芽のような素直でおおらかな建築をつくりたいと思った。
ワイナリーをつくるにあたり特に細かな要望はなく、ともに成長し熟成していけるような場所を一緒につくった。初めてワインを飲んだ時の感動が蘇るような場所になってほしいと願いながら…。（天久和則）
A generous brewery that matures with wine
It has been over ten years since the couple of client moved from the Kanto region to a small village in the mountains of Niimi, Okayama Prefecture, with the dream of creating a winery.
Across fields, fields, and mountains, the sky is endless. The couple has a personality that seems to blend in with the surroundings. We wanted to create an architecture that is not only based on their personality but is also honest and generous, like a budding bud with no ornamentation.
There were no specific requests when building the winery, but rather we worked together to create a place where we could grow and mature together. We hope that the winery will be a place that brings back the excitement of drinking wine for the first time. (Kazunori Tenkyu)
