大阪市の谷町6丁目にある築80年、三軒長屋の一画を飲食店に改修した。
「オーストラリアワインと炭火割烹」という独創的なマリアージュを提案する料理店なので、古民家の雰囲気・特色を残しつつ、和に寄りすぎないように計画した。墨を使った仕上げ材と金属素材を組み合わせることで、提供される食材と空間の調和を図った。（川口裕人）
Wine and Japanese cuisine restaurant renovated to retain the atmosphere of a tenement house
An 80-year-old row house in Tanimachi, Osaka, was renovated into a restaurant.
The restaurant proposes a unique marriage of “Australian wine and charcoal-grilled kappo (Japanese cuisine),” so we planned to preserve the atmosphere and characteristics of the old private house while not leaning too much toward Japanese style. The combination of sumi-ink finishing materials and metal materials harmonized the space with the food served. (Hiroto Kawaguchi)
