福岡の中心に位置する場所。ファッショナブルな若者が行き交う通り。そこから1本外れた小さな路地にある美容室。
ファサードにはショーウィンドウのような正方形の扉があり、手で押すと回転してその内に招かれる。
カッティングスペースは600㎜幅×24枚のパネルを円形に並べて構成した簡素で実験的な空間。
円形には動線が交わりやすくなる反面、ファッションショーの舞台裏のような何かを生み出そうとする熱気の中心が生まれる。
流行に敏感な人々が何色に髪を染め、どんな髪型にしているのか、お互いの視線の交差も含め時代に合った美容室のありかたの1つではないだろうか。（小嶋健志郎）
A circular hair salon with a square glass door rotating inside
A place located in the center of Fukuoka. The beauty salon is located in a small alley off a street frequented by fashionable young people.
The facade has a square door like a show window, which rotates when pushed by hand to mimic the interior.
The cutting space is a simple and experimental space composed of 24 panels, each 600mm wide, arranged in a circle.
While the circular shape makes it easy for lines of flow to intersect, it also creates a center of excitement, like the backstage area of a fashion show, where people are eager to create something.
It is one of the ways for a beauty salon to be in tune with the times, where people who are sensitive to the latest fashions can exchange glances to see what color they are dying their hair and what kind of hairstyles they are sporting. (Kenshiro Kojima)
