重度障害の方が通えるデイサービス・多機能型事業所の新築である。
利用者はバギー・車椅子での介助者による移動を主とし、多くの時間を室内で過ごすことになる。そのようななか、室内にいながら太陽の動きとときの移ろいを感じ、木のぬくもりを感じられる空間を目指した。
容易に外に出られるデッキテラスを設け、気候の穏やかな日はバギー・車椅子のままテラスまで移動することができ、自然に触れ季節を肌で感じられる場所をつくった。
室内の仕上げで利用した床材・腰壁材には、岐阜県の補助金を活用し、岐阜県の県産材を使用している。（伊藤孝紀）
A welfare facility with the warmth of prefectural lumber
This is a new construction of day service and multifunctional facility for people with severe disabilities.
Facility users spend most of their time indoors, primarily traveling by buggies or wheelchairs. We aimed to create a space where people can feel the movement of the sun and the transition of time, and the warmth of the wood, even though they are indoors.
A decked terrace was created to allow easy access to the outside. On mild weather days, people can move to the terrace in buggies or wheelchairs, creating a place to experience nature and the seasons firsthand.
The flooring and wall materials used for the interior finishes were made of Gifu Prefecture’s local timber, using subsidies from Gifu Prefecture. (Takanori Ito)
