大阪・中之島の川沿いに計画されたコーヒーショップの新装プロジェクト。
室内と屋外の境界に大きなボリュームをつくり、内外に跨る開口を設けることで、体感できる空間を拡張している。ポップな色彩とシャープなディテールのバランスは、ジェンダーレスな印象を与え、ブランドの魅力である”隔たりのなさ”を多面的に表現している。
積み重ねることで大きなボリュームとなる造作家具や、用途を限定することのないマテリアルの使い方により、異なる素材や機能が心地よい質感で共存する空間を目指した。（Joe Yoshimura）
A cafe space that expresses and allows people to experience the lack of separation
This is a renovation project for a coffee shop planned along the river in Nakanoshima, Osaka.
By creating a large volume at the boundary between indoors and outdoors and providing large openings, the experiential space is expanded. The balance of pop colors and sharp details gives an impression that is both masculine and feminine, expressing in a multifaceted way the brand’s appeal of “no barriers.”
By using built-in furniture that can be stacked to create a large volume and materials that are not limited to specific uses, we aimed to create a space where different materials and functions coexist with a comfortable texture. (Joe Yoshimura)
