練馬区の緑道に面した敷地に、緑と呼応した有機的で立体的な住宅を設計した。
道に対してセットバックし、緑道の植栽と連続した小さな前庭と屋外テラスを設けた。銅と木という経年変化する素材を用いて、変化していく時間を楽しむ家とした。散歩道として親しまれている緑道を歩く人々に対しても、彩りある生活の背景になってくれることを期待した。内部は小さなニッチが立体的に繋がる一室空間であり、さまざまな方位・高さに設けた窓から季節・時間によって表情豊かな自然光が差し込んでくる。
住み手が常に新しい気持ちで使い方を発見できるような家を目指した。

A row of houses along the greenway, featuring wood and copper facades
We designed an organic, three-dimensional residence that responds to the greenery on a site facing a greenway in Nerima Ward.
Set back from the road, we created a small front garden and outdoor terrace that connect with the greenway’s plantings. Using materials like copper and wood that change over time, we crafted a home that invites enjoyment of its evolving character. We hoped it would also serve as a colorful backdrop to daily life for those strolling along the beloved greenway. Inside, a single open space features interconnected small niches. Windows positioned at various angles and heights allow richly expressive natural light to stream in, shifting with the seasons and time of day.
We aimed to create a home where residents can continually discover new ways to use it with fresh enthusiasm.
