〈イェッテル・コロシアム（Yettel Colosseum）〉と〈ザ・クラブ（The Club）〉は、ハンガリーのブダペスト北部で開催されるヨーロッパ最大級の音楽・文化フェス「シゲト・フェスティバル（Sziget Festival）」のために建てられた木造コンサート会場です。
ブダペストを拠点とする建築デザインスタジオ Hello Woodが設計・建設した、どちらも解体・再利用が可能な建築です。

地区の中心でナイトライフを再定義するコンサート会場
2025年に開催されるシゲト・フェスティバルは、刷新、持続可能性、そして文化的活力を掲げた新たな時代の幕開けとなる。
6日間にわたり、「自由の島」は再び音楽、芸術、コミュニティが交わる拠点となる。今年は特にフェスティバルのナイトライフと電子音楽文化の昇華に焦点が当てられている。

ナイトライフの変革する新たな地区
この変革の中心となるのが、新たに発表された「デルタ地区」である。ここは「メインステージ終了後の時間」を再定義するために設計された、躍動的なパーティのための三角地帯である。
ここでは、メロディックな旅からハイエナジーなリズムまで、あらゆる形態のエレクトロニックミュージックが支配する。

解体・再構築可能な木造円形アリーナ〈イェッテル・コロシアム〉
ヨーロッパで最もユニークなフェスティバル会場の1つである〈イェッテル・コロシアム（Yettel Colosseum）〉は、今年も電子音楽の象徴的な中心地として立ち上がる。円形劇場を彷彿とさせるHello Woodが設計・建設した建築は、古代競技場の雰囲気を呼び起こしつつ、大胆な現代的フェスティバルのアイデンティティを打ち出している。

コロシアムの円形アリーナは直径30m、高さ約10mの木造壁が3,000人以上を包み込む没入型空間を形成する。持続可能な方法で調達された500m³以上の木材（約4,400パレット相当）を使用し、プレファブリケーション式のモジュールシステムにより、毎年の迅速な組み立て、解体、再利用を可能にした。このモジュラー工法は資材廃棄を大幅に削減し、認証木材の使用により環境負荷を最小限に抑えている。

昼間は開放的な格子構造が光と影の劇的な模様を生み出すが、夜には360度照明システムが統合された輝く建築ランドマークへと変貌する。
この非凡な空間で、オルタナティブ／プログレッシブ電子音楽のトップアーティストたちがコロシアムを、エネルギーとリズム、集団体験が渦巻く徹夜の中心地へと変容させることになるだろう。

新たな没入空間〈ザ・クラブ〉
コロシアムの雄大な開放感とは対照的に、〈ザ・クラブ（The Club）〉はデルタ地区に全く新しい、完全密閉型の会場として導入される。
フェスティバルのための「ブラックボックス」としてHello Woodが構想したこの空間は、外界からの感覚を遮断し、観客をアンダーグラウンドなナイトライフの生の熱気に没入させる設計となっている。

500m²以上をカバーし、約600人を収容する〈ザ・クラブ〉は、シゲトの広大さの中にありながら、意図的に親密なスケールを提供する。モジュール方式の木造フレームと再生可能な音響パネルを組み合わせた構造は、耐久性と循環性を両立させており、将来のプロジェクトで完全に分解・再利用が可能となっている。

内部は圧巻の天井インスタレーションが支配する。400m以上に及ぶLEDストリップが音楽のビートにリアルタイムで反応し、会場を群衆の上で脈打つ光の彫刻へと変貌させる。
さまざまなアーティストによるパフォーマンスが予定されており、〈ザ・クラブ〉は最先端の電子音楽文化の聖域となることを約束する。

建築と音楽の融合
〈イェッテル・コロシアム〉と〈ザ・クラブ〉を通じて、Hello Woodは再び、フェスティバル用仮設構造物が機能を超越し、建築的宣言となる可能性を示した。
これらの会場は単なるステージではなく、モジュール性、持続可能性、大胆なアイデンティティを兼ね備えた儚いモニュメントである。そこでは音楽と建築が融合し、忘れがたい集合的体験が創出される。

Hello Wood Concert Venues at the Heart of Sziget’s New Delta District
The 2025 edition of Sziget Festival marks a new era of renewal, sustainability, and cultural vibrancy. For six days and nights, the Island of Freedom will once again become a hub where music, art, and community converge—this year with a special focus on elevating the festival’s nightlife and electronic music culture.
At the center of this transformation is the newly announced Delta District: a dynamic party triangle designed to redefine “life after the Main Stage.” Here, electronic music will reign in all its forms, from melodic journeys to high-energy rhythms, with more than 100 international performers including Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Amelie Lens, Steve Angello, Don Diablo, Vini Vici, Mathame, Miss Monique, Alok, and many more.
The biggest attraction of Sziget is that it offers experiences 24/7 over six days, across countless genres and cultural programs. With the Delta District, we aim to take Sziget’s nightlife to the next level, fully embracing the diverse and vibrant world of electronic music,” said Tamás Kádár, Chief Organizer of Sziget Festival.
The Yettel Colosseum – An Icon Reimagined
One of Europe’s most unique festival venues, the Yettel Colosseum, will once again stand as a monumental centerpiece of electronic music. Designed and built by Hello Wood, the amphitheater-inspired structure recalls the atmosphere of ancient arenas while introducing a bold contemporary festival identity.
The Colosseum’s circular arena spans 30 meters in diameter, its timber walls rising nearly 10 meters high to embrace more than 3,000 people in an immersive setting. Built from over 500 cubic meters of sustainably sourced timber, equivalent to around 4,400 pallets, the structure is the result of a prefabricated, modular system that allows rapid assembly, disassembly, and reuse each year. This modular engineering significantly reduces material waste, while the certified timber ensures that environmental impact remains minimal.
By day, the open lattice-like construction produces dramatic patterns of light and shadow, while by night it becomes a glowing architectural landmark, animated by an integrated 360-degree lighting system. Within this extraordinary space, leading names in alternative and progressive electronic music will transform the Colosseum into an all-night epicenter of energy, rhythm, and collective experience.
The Club – A New Vibrant Space
In striking contrast to the monumental openness of the Colosseum, The Club introduces a brand-new, fully enclosed venue into the Delta District. Conceived by Hello Wood as a “black box” for the festival, it isolates the senses from the outside world and immerses its audience in the raw intensity of underground nightlife.
Covering more than 500 square meters and accommodating around 600 people, The Club offers a deliberately intimate scale within the vastness of Sziget. Its modular timber frame, combined with recyclable acoustic panels, was designed for both durability and circularity, ensuring that the entire structure can be fully disassembled and reused in future projects.
The interior is dominated by a spectacular ceiling installation: more than 400 meters of LED strips programmed to respond in real time to the beat of the music, transforming the venue into a pulsating light sculpture above the crowd. With performances by The Blessed Madonna, Adriatique, Hot Since 82, Korolova, I Hate Models, and Dixon, The Club promises to be a sanctuary for cutting-edge electronic culture.
Architecture Meets Music
With the Yettel Colosseum and The Club, Hello Wood once again demonstrates how temporary festival structures can transcend function to become architectural statements. These venues are not only stages, but ephemeral monuments—designed with modularity, sustainability, and bold identity—where music and architecture merge to create unforgettable collective experiences. Perfectly aligned with the renewed vision of Sziget Festival, they embody community, creativity, and sustainability at the heart of Europe’s Island of Freedom.
