お互いがそれぞれに仕事を持っている、夫婦のための職住一体型の住居である。
執務空間と生活空間は、1つの玄関を必ず経由する計画としたうえで、それ以外の空間での職住の切り替えを図った。
切り替えそのものよりも大切にしたのは、1日のほとんどを2人きりで過ごすということを踏まえて、お互いがその時の気分によって、心地よい距離感をとれるように空間をしつらえることであった。
夫婦の関係性をよく「付かず離れず」と言うが、瞬間で距離感が変化していくというのが、より実情に近いと思う。仮に距離感を空間のボリュームとしたならば、どちらかがほんの少し、繊細にボリュームを調整することで、その時々に合ったちょうどいい距離感を2人の間につくることができるのではないか。そう考えて、さまざまな使い方ができる居場所を住まいのところどころに用意した。
出窓の前に設えたベンチは、食堂と居間のどちらにも直接関係を持つことができる。また、居間の吹き抜け上部のロフトには、ちょっとした時に一人きりにもなれる、自由に使えるスペースを設けた。
夫妻にとって親しい人々の来訪もイメージしながら、夫婦2人が働きながら住まうための、息の詰まらない、快適な住まいについて、自分なりに思いを巡らせながらデザインした住居である。（永松 淳）
A residence that pursues comfort in a life that integrates work and housing
This is a work-housing integrated housing project for two couples.
The office and living spaces are connected through an entrance, and I attempted to switch between work and home in other rooms.
What is more important than the switch is that the couple spends most of the day alone with each other, so we arranged the space to create a comfortable distance between them according to their moods.
The relationship between husband and wife is often referred to as “don’t stick and don’t leave,” but I think it is more accurate to say that the sense of distance changes with the moment. If we assume that a sense of distance is the volume of space, it may be possible to create a sense of distance between two people just right for each moment, if one of them adjusts the volume just a little bit more delicately. With this in mind, I prepared various places in the house that can be used in various ways.
The bench in front of the bay window directly connects to both the dining room and the living room. In the upper part of the living room atrium, a loft space can be used freely and get a space and time for myself alone in-between times.
I designed this house to pursue the comfort of living and working together while imagining my client and his wife’s friends visiting the house. (Jun Nagamatsu)
