アウトドアが趣味の夫婦が、景色のよい崖地を購入して新築を計画。キャンプや料理、インテリアが好きなクライアントが自分の感性に合ったモノや場所を見つけ、一生愛せそうなモノやコトを楽しむ暮らし、すなわち「モノやコトをストックする」ことをデザインアプローチとした。
好きな場所をストックする、経験をストックする。この行動から生まれる「学び」を楽しみ、それを家族で共有しながら新たな好奇心を生む暮らしを実現させる計画である。
屋外での活動をより室内とボーダーレスな状態にするために、屋根を延長させて土間スペースと倉庫を一体的に計画し、崖からの景色を切り取った。
室内はアースカラーを基調とした床や壁でまとめながら、キッチン背面を印象的な光沢のあるブルーでアクセントをつけ、真鍮のペンダント照明で彩った。
パウダールームは印象的なグリーンのタイルを使いながら朝日が入るように上部に開口を設け、明るさを確保した。
室内のインテリアを楽しみながら屋外とのつながりを大切にして暮らしの幅を広げ、これからのさまざまな「出来事」をストックできる計画とした。（石本輝旭）
A couple's house where they live while stocking what they like
A couple whose hobby is outdoor activities purchased a cliff lot with a beautiful view and planned to build a new house. The client, who loves camping, cooking, and interior design, found things and places that match their sensibilities, and they live enjoying things and experiences that they could treasure for a lifetime. In other words, the design approach was to “accumulate things and experiences.
Accumulate favorite places, accumulate experiences. The plan is to realize a life where people enjoy the “learning” that comes from this action and share it with their families to generate new curiosity.
To make the outdoor activities more borderless with the interior, I extended the roof and planned the earthen space and warehouse as an integral part of the house, cutting off the view from the cliff.
While the interior is decorated with earth-toned floors and walls, the back of the kitchen is accented with a striking glossy blue, and brass pendant lighting is installed.
The powder room has striking green tiles and an opening at the top to allow the morning sun to enter, ensuring brightness.
While enjoying the room’s interior design, we placed importance on the connection with the outdoors to broaden the scope of living and accumulate various “events” in the future.（Teruaki Ishimoto）
