あるファッションビルの1区画に位置するアパレルブランドの内装の計画。広さは60m²程度で共用通路に沿った細長い形が特徴的な区画であった。
まず特徴的な細長い店舗区画に沿った共用通路からの洋服の見え方を検討した。ハンガーラックを通路と平行に設置すると、ハンガーラックに吊られた洋服の側面しか見えない状況になってしまう。間口が広く細長い店舗でそのような単調な構成になるのを避けるため、ハンガーラックごとに設置角度を振り、洋服の正面を望めるような吊られ方になるように計画した。
シンプルな整形の店舗に別の角度のルールをもち込むことで、洋服の見え方の解決と、シンプルな店舗構成に複雑なシークエンスが生まれた。
洋服の見せ方から必然的に生まれたトラスのような吊りラックが、通路を通る人のシークエンスに動きを生むような、シンプルでありながら複雑な見え方の店舗となることを目指した。（川嶋洋平）
A store with a hanger rack that creates sequences and movements
This is an interior design project for an apparel brand located in a fashion building. The size of the plot was about 60m², and it was characterized by its long and narrow shape along the common corridor.
First, we studied how the clothes would look from the common aisle along the characteristic long and narrow store block. If the hanger racks were placed parallel to the aisle, only the sides of the clothes hanging from the racks would be visible. To avoid such a monotonous configuration in a long and narrow store with a wide frontage, we planned to set each hanger rack at a different angle to see the front of the clothes.
By introducing a different angle into the simple form of the store, I was able to solve the problem of how the clothes look and create a complex sequence in the simple store structure.
The truss-like hanging racks that inevitably emerge from the way the clothes are displayed are intended to create movement in the sequence of people passing through the aisles, creating a store with a complex yet straightforward appearance. (Yohei Kawashima)
