名古屋の中心に位置するマンションのリノベーション。従来型マンション特有の間仕切りで本来の広さ、奥行を感じることができない物件だった。レイアウト計画として水回りをセンターコアとし、その周辺を回遊できる間取りとした。風が通り、奥側の光も感じられる奥行のある空間となった。
また、高さよりも奥行を意識して全体の色を抑え、時間とともに流れる光と影や手触りなど、五感に訴える素材使いとした。玄関に足を踏み入れたときに感じる日常の中の自分だけの特別な空間。奥へと誘うアールの壁と特注で製作したプリミティブなレンガは、その役割を存分に果たしてくれている。（藤川祐二郎＋金 瑛実）
Renovation of dwelling units in apartment buildings that appeal to the five senses and give depth
This is a plan for the renovation of an apartment located in the center of Nagoya. Due to the partitions peculiar to condominiums, it was impossible to feel the true size and depth of the space. Therefore, the first plan was to create a floor plan with the water area as the center core and the surrounding area as the circulation area. The result is a space with a lot of depth that allows the wind to flow and the light to shine through.
The use of materials appeals to the five senses, such as light, shadows, and touch, as it flows with time. When you step into the entrance, you feel a special space for yourself in the midst of everyday life.
