東京のヘアサロンnalu.の福岡出店に伴い立ち上げた新ブランド。
クライアントの要望として、学生〜20代前半の女性をターゲットにヘアカラーを主軸としたサロンにすること、nalu.のブランドを保ちつつもより若い客層へ向けた店舗デザインの依頼をいただいた。
店名の〈JUURI〉（ユーリ）はフィンランド語で「根」を意味しており、ナチュラルな北欧デザインをベースにターゲットである福岡の、美容感度の高い女性像に親和性のある韓国のムードを取り入れ、空間デザインを組み立てていった。
ビル5階の区画のため、エレベータのドアが開いた瞬間に世界観を体験できるよう、ミルキーなベージュカラーで統一したエントランスに、ベンチと棚が一体となったモザイクタイルの造作やネオンサイン、ダイクロイックフィルムでアクセントを加えた。開放感のあるスケルトン天井と白壁で構成した施術スペースに対し、シャンプーブースはくすんだ色味の塗装とガラスブロックで構成し、エントランス、施術スペース、シャンプーブースとエリアごとに特徴のある空間構成となった。（齊藤寿康）
A beauty salon where the view of the world spreads directly from the elevator
A new brand launched in conjunction with opening a new Fukuoka branch of the Tokyo hair salon, “nalu.”
The client requested that the salon focus on hair coloring, targeting students and women in their early 20s and that the store is designed to appeal to a younger clientele while maintaining the “nalu.” Brand.
The name of the salon, “JUURI,” means “root” in Finnish. The space was designed based on a natural Scandinavian design, incorporating a Korean mood that would be friendly to the highly aesthetic-sensitive women of Fukuoka, the target market.
The entrance, located on the 5th floor of the building, is a milky beige color, accented with mosaic tiles, a neon sign, and dichroic film, which combines a bench and shelf. While the treatment space is composed of a skeleton ceiling and white walls with a sense of openness, the shampoo booth is composed of dull-colored paint and glass blocks, creating a spatial composition with characteristics for each area: entrance, treatment space, and shampoo booth.
