雄大な景観を享受する大開口と縁側のある平屋住宅

クライアントの要望は「田園の奥にそびえる石鎚山脈を感じられること」。

敷地は変形地で南側には建物がそびえ立つ。デメリットとされがちな特性を土地の”面白み”と捉え、邸内からも山並を感じる平屋をプランニングした。
光を取り入れるためLDKに360度スリットのハイサイドライトを配し、日中は自然光をやさしく取り込み、夜は柔らかな光を放つ。大きな開口は絵画のように風景を切り取る。また、LDKは方形屋根の形状を活かし無柱の大空間を実現した。

敷地の特性を活かし、周辺環境とのバランスを叶えた住まいが完成した。（藤山敬晃）

One-story house with large openings and porch to enjoy the magnificent view

The client requested “to feel the Ishizuchi Mountains rising behind the rice paddies.

The site is a deformed lot, with buildings towering on the south side. The client considered this characteristic, often regarded as a disadvantage, to be an “interesting feature” of the site and planned a one-story house where the mountain range could be felt even from inside the house.
In order to let in light, 360-degree slit-high sidelights are placed in the LDK to let in natural light gently during the day and softly at night. The large openings cut through the landscape like a painting. The square roof of the LDK was utilized to create a large, pillar-less space.

The house was completed by taking advantage of the characteristics of the site and achieving a balance with the surrounding environment. (Noriaki Toyama)
