南北方向に38mあり、南側隣地には地域のコミュニティグランドがある計画地。クライアントよりプライバシーを確保して自然体でいられる暮らしをしながら、好きな家具や小物を堪能できる空間を要望された。
それをふまえて、屋根や壁などの構造躯体で周囲からの視線を遮り、屋外と室内を繋げることで外部環境を室内に取り込み、住まい手が自然体でいられる空間を計画している。
まず視線が気になる南側を壁面で遮り、屋根を東西に深く落とすことにより、プライバシー性の高い土間空間を計画した。視線を遮った先に中庭を計画し、屋外と室内を緩やかに繋げている。中庭を囲う空間構成とすることで、南側を閉じていても室内の明るさを確保している。LDKではキッチンや階段などの1つひとつの要素をひと回り大きく設定することで大空間に線引きを行い、緩やかに空間を細分化させている。
各要素をスケールアウトさせたことにより、空間を狭く感じさせないためにキッチンの上部に吹き抜けを計画し、スケールに見合った空間の広がりを演出した。（石本輝旭）
A house where elements are scaled out to enjoy the space
The planned site is 38 meters long from north to south, and there is a local community ground on the adjacent land to the south. The client requested a space to enjoy his favorite furniture and accessories while securing privacy and living a natural life.
With this in mind, we planned a space that allows the residents to live naturally by using the structural frame of the roof and walls to block the view from the surroundings and by connecting the outdoors with the indoors to bring the outside environment inside.
First, the south side of the building, which is a concern for the eye, is blocked by a wall, and the roof is dropped deeply to the east and west to create an earthen space with a high degree of privacy. A courtyard is planned at the end of the blocked line of sight, gently connecting the outdoors with the interior. In the LDK, each element, such as the kitchen and the staircase, is set one size larger than the other to draw a line in the ample space and gently subdivide the space.
I scaled out each element so that the client would not feel that the space was too small, and I made the upper part of the kitchen and atrium to create an expanse of space commensurate with the scale.（Teruaki Ishimoto）
