〈anfrum〉は、古い木造家屋が数多く残る大阪、谷町6丁目の細い路地を50mほど進んだ先にある美容室の計画である。
女性オーナーが1人で営業されるため、カット・シャンプー各1席のコンパクトな構成となっている。
お客様と1対1のプライベートな空間であることから、「お客様がセット椅子に座っているだけではなく、店内を自由に歩き回れるようなお店にしたい」というオーナーの要望を受け、自由に雑誌を読んだり、コーヒーを飲んだり、待合スペースやカウンセリングスペースになったりと、フレキシブルに利用できる大きなテーブルを中央に設け、そのテーブルを中心としてほかのスペースを配置している。
バックヤード以外は間仕切り壁を設けないひと続きの空間となるため、使用する素材や色を限定し、既存鉄骨柱、梁が構成するグリッドに合わせて各スペースのゾーニングを行ったうえ、パステルカラーの壁やタイルの目地、スチール棚などがつくる直線ラインが、それらのグリッドに呼応するような計画とすることで、既存要素も活用しつつ全体のバランスを整えている。
シンプルな中にも大人の女性オーナーらしいスッキリとしたかわいらしさを持ったお店となり、また、中央の大きなテーブルをお客様に利用してもらうことで、テーブルに置かれた本やアートなどから自然とお店のスタイルが発信され、そこから新たなコミュニケーションが生まれることを期待している。（坪井秀矩）
A one-seat beauty salon where you can enjoy a feminine space on your own
This project is for a hair salon located 50m down a narrow alleyway in Tanimachi 6-Chome, Osaka, where many old wooden houses stand.
The salon is run by a single female owner and is compact, with only one seat each for cutting and shampooing.
As the salon is a private space, the owner wanted to create a space where customers can sit in a chair and walk around freely. In response to the owner’s request, a large table is placed in the shop’s center, and the other spaces are arranged around it.
The materials and colors used are limited to create a continuous space without partition walls except for the backyard. Each space is zoned according to the grid of existing steel columns and beams. The straight lines created by the pastel walls, tile joints, and steel shelves echo these grids, creating a balance between the existing elements and the overall design.
We hope that customers will use the large table in the center of the shop and that the books and art on the table will naturally communicate the shop’s style and create new communication. We hope this will lead to new communication. (Hidenori Tsuboi)
