広島県三次市三良坂よりできたてのかしわ餅をお届けする広島市の店舗。
泉屋の「とろけるかしわ餅」の柔らかさ、白さ、もちっと感を素材と丸みで表現した。
ファサードのベンチは浮遊感を出し、隙間に植栽を敷くことで、かしわ餅の軽やかさを表現。大きなサインも入り、泉屋の看板ともなる。（島谷将文）
Kashiwa mochi specialty store with a facade that expresses the softness and whiteness of rice cake
A store in Hiroshima City that delivers freshly made Kashiwa Mochi from Mirasaka, Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
The softness, whiteness, and mochi (stickiness) of Izumiya’s “melt-in-your-mouth kashiwa mochi” are expressed in the materials and roundness of the mochi.
The benches on the facade create a floating effect, and plants are placed in the gaps between the benches to express the lightness of the kashiwa mochi. A large signboard was also added to serve as a signboard for Izumiya.(Masafumi Shimatani)
