「一般的な戸建ては、設計の力でどこまで美しくなれるか。」 この1棟貸切別荘は、私たちが抱いた1つの大きな問いに対する、明快な答えである。
始まりは、ありふれた住まいの枠組みに、創意工夫という名の魔法をかける挑戦であった。 私たちが目指したのは、高価な素材に頼る贅沢ではなく、日本が古来より大切にしてきた「陰翳」の美学と、現代建築が追求する「機能的ミニマリズム」を緻密な設計で融合させること。
扉を開けた瞬間に感じるのは、日常から切り離された「結界」のような静謐さ。 障子越しに揺れる柔らかな光、素材の奥行きを浮き彫りにする計算された影。 伝統的な家づくりがもつ「和」の精神を、現代のライフスタイルという器に注ぎ込み、細部の納まり（工夫）に宿らせることで、空間に圧倒的な深みを与えている。
ここは、ありふれた日常を「特別な体験」へと昇華させる知恵の集積地。 建物の限界を超え、住まうことの真理を証明したこの空間で、思考を整え、感性を解き放つひとときを過ごす。

“Just how beautiful can a typical single-family home become through the power of design?” This exclusive vacation home is a clear answer to one of the major questions we asked ourselves.
It all began as a challenge to cast the magic of ingenuity over the framework of an ordinary home. Our goal was not luxury achieved through expensive materials, but rather to fuse, through meticulous design, the aesthetics of “shadow and light” (in’ei)—cherished in Japan since ancient times—with the “functional minimalism” pursued by modern architecture.
The moment you open the door, you feel a tranquility akin to a “sacred barrier” that separates you from everyday life. Soft light flickers through the shoji screens, and carefully calculated shadows bring out the materials’ depth. By pouring the spirit of “Wa”—inherent in traditional Japanese homebuilding—into the vessel of a modern lifestyle and imbuing it with intricate craftsmanship, the space gains overwhelming depth.
This repository of wisdom elevates ordinary daily life into a “special experience.” In this space—which transcends the limitations of architecture and proves the truth of what it means to live—you can spend time organizing your thoughts and unleashing your sensibilities.
