The 2021 Pritzker Prize Laureates: Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal
2021年のプリツカー賞（The Pritzker Architecture Prize）が、ラカトン&ヴァッサル（Lacaton&Vassal）に決定しました。主催者であるハイアット財団の公式ウェブサイトに情報が掲載されています。
ラカトン&ヴァッサルは、1955年フランス・サンパルドゥー生まれのアンヌ・ラカトン（Anne Lacaton）と1954年モロッコ・カサブランカ生まれのジャン=フィリップ・ヴァッサル（Jean-Philippe Vassal）の二人による建築家デュオ。1987年にフランス・パリでLACATON & VASSAL ARCHITECTESを設立。以来、パリを拠点に活動し、ヨーロッパと西アフリカで30以上のプロジェクトを成功させています。手がけたプロジェクトも、住宅、公共住宅、文化施設、教育施設、公共スペース、都市開発など多岐にわたります。

Significant works also include Cap Ferret House (Cap Ferret, France 1998), 14 social houses for Cité Manifeste (Mulhouse, France 2005); Pôle Universitaire de Sciences de Gestion (Bordeaux, France 2008); low-rise apartments for 53 units (Saint-Nazaire, France 2011), a multipurpose theater (Lille, 2013),Ourcq-Jaurès student and social housing (Paris, France 2013); a 59-unit social housing development at Jardins Neppert (Mulhouse, France 2014–2015); and a residential and office building in Chêne-Bourg(Geneva, Switzerland 2020).
受賞歴（同上）：
Awarded：the Lifetime Achievement Award, Trienal de Lisboa (2016), and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture (2019) along with Frédéric Druot Architecture and Christophe Hutin Architecture for the transformation of 530 Dwellings at Grand Parc, Bordeaux.
