本プロジェクトは道路沿いに整備された分譲地の一区画に計画された住宅である。正面となる南側は開けており、後ろの北側はメイン道路に接している整形地である。そのためできる限り南面に開口部とバッファーゾーンを設け、パッシブで快適な空間を目指した。
メインとなるリビングは大きな吹抜け空間とし、南側に大きな窓を設けている。そして、それとつながるように深い軒下空間と緑豊かな外部空間を設けている。
庭には落葉樹を設け、間に軒の深い中間領域を設けることで、夏は涼しく冬は暖かいパッシブな空間をつくり出した。
シンプルながらも、浮遊する階段や、柔らかな光の陰影をつくり出す曲面が空間にアクセントを与えつつ、設備として外断熱のエアサイクルを導入することで、より快適な空間を目指した。クライアントは緑豊かなパッシブな住まいで、快適かつ豊かに生活を楽しんでくれることであろう。（久我義孝）
Passive design house with deep eaves and greenery
This project is a house planned on a lot in a subdivision developed along a road. The front side of the lot is open to the south, and the north side is well shaped and bordered by the main road. Therefore, we aimed to create a passive and comfortable space with openings and buffer zones on the south side as much as possible.

Deciduous trees in the garden and an intermediate area with deep eaves create a cool passive space in summer and warm in winter.
While simple, the floating staircase and curved surfaces that create soft shades of light accentuate the space, while the exterior insulation air cycle was introduced as a facility to make the space more comfortable.
