木の実幼稚園の遊戯室の建て替えにともない、未就園児室（ナースリー）と子育て支援可能なこども絵本・おもちゃ館（みなるぶんこ）を1階に併設した。各々の部屋は棚によって軽く仕切られ往来可能。みなるぶんこは街に弧を描きながら大きく開き、そこに生まれた円弧外空間にはさまざまな植物が街並みに溶け込む。
園庭側は、スロープで生まれた斜面に移植樹と先生方の協力によって植えられた新たな木々が林立する。今後はさらに建物のボリュームを消してくれるだろう。
2階のホール（みなるほーる）は、歩道への圧迫感をなくすため弧を描きながら大きくセットバックした。妻側のガラス面は季節ごとに表情を変えるメタセコイヤが対峙している。（向井昭人）
A kindergarten with an arc that blends in with the cityscape
With the reconstruction of the playroom at Kinomi Kindergarten, a preschool room (nursery) and a children’s picture book and toy library (Minaru Bunko) were added to the first floor to provide childcare support. Each room is lightly partitioned by shelves, allowing visitors to come and go as they please. Minaru Bunko opens wide, drawing an arc into the city, and in the space outside the arc, a variety of plants blend into the cityscape.
On the garden side, the slope created by the slope is lined with transplanted trees and new trees planted with the cooperation of the teachers. In the future, these trees will further reduce the volume of the building.
The hall on the second floor (Minaru Hall) is set back in a large arc to eliminate the feeling of oppression on the sidewalk. The glass facade on the gable side faces a metasequoia tree, whose expression changes with the seasons. (Akihito Mukai)
