普段家の周りを歩いていると、似たり寄ったりな街並みが続いてゆくなか、ふとした瞬間に目を凝らすと庭先に植えられている木々や道端に生えている雑草、街路樹が落とす木漏れ日、建物の間から見える空など心を打たれる瞬間がある。
そんな街へ散らばっている些細な風景を掬い、その風景のうつろいとともに過ごす住宅の提案。
敷地は都心の住宅街で分筆され小さくなった土地。
周りには住宅が建ち並び敷地の周りを囲んでいる。
些細な風景を掬うように敷地の北側にある道路と住宅、南側にある隣地の通路を繋ぎ合わせ、都市と住宅を繋ぐ谷を家の中へ取り込むことで、都市的な空間と住宅の空間を曖昧にし、都市に散らばっている要素を掬い取る。
その谷の表面は、シルバー色とし隣地の建物、街の植物、人の影、空の色を掬う。
風が吹くと植物の葉がそよそよと動き、雨の後はトップライトに残った雨粒がゆらゆらと影を落とす。
そんなさまざまな動きを掬い取り、谷空間全体に新しい風景をつくり出す。
平面と曲面でつくられた谷を介することで、その風景の解像度を落としながらぼんやりと谷全体を包み、雑多な住宅街としての風景ではなく、木々の緑や空の青色や空合のうつろいといった些細な風景を纏う。
そんな空間内を移動していくなかで、天気に囲まれた風景や周辺住宅の植木の色など、さまざまな風景が混じり合った新しい風景に出逢いながら家の中を散策してゆく。
また谷の端々は、上から下まで開けることができる計画としている。
普段部屋の一部であった谷空間は、すべての開口部を開けることで、谷と外が一体となり、谷に浮かぶスラブがバルコニーのような用途へとうつろい、風景とともに谷の使い方もうつろってゆく。
そして谷を挟むそれぞれのボリュームの各部屋からは、さまざまな形状、高さの開口があり、外の風景や風景を掬う谷の表面が見える。
その時に掬われた風景を見て居場所を選び、本を読んだり食事をしたりする場へとうつろってゆく。
街の風景を取り込むことで、小さな敷地の中に1年を通しここにしかない新しい風景が生まれた。（小野里紗）
A compact three-story house to spend time with various phenomena
Walking around one’s home, one is struck by the similarity of the streetscape, but there are moments when one looks at the trees planted in the yard, weeds growing along the roadside, sunlight filtering through the trees, and the sky seen between the buildings.
This project proposes a residence that captures such trivial scenes scattered throughout the city and allows the residents to spend their time with the changing scenery.
The site is a small plot of land that has been subdivided into a residential area in the heart of the city.
The site is surrounded by rows of houses.
The road and houses on the north side of the site and the passageway of the neighboring land on the south side are connected as if to scoop up trivial landscapes.
The valley’s surface is silver-colored to capture the colors of neighboring buildings, city plants, human shadows, and the sky.
When the wind blows, the leaves of the plants move gently, and after it rains, the raindrops left on the top light cast shadows.
The work scoops up these various movements and creates new landscapes throughout the valley space.
The valley is made of planes and curved surfaces, and the resolution of the landscape is lowered while the entire valley is enveloped in a blur, creating a landscape that is not a motley residential area but rather a trivial landscape of green trees, blue sky, and the changing colors of the sky.
As one moves through the space, one encounters new landscapes that are a mixture of various landscapes, such as the scenery surrounded by the weather and the colors of the plants in the surrounding houses as one strolls through the house.
The plan also allows the valley’s edges to be opened from top to bottom.
The valley space, which is usually a part of the room, becomes one with the outside by opening all the openings, and the use of the valley changes along with the landscape as the slabs floating in the valley are used as balconies.
Each room in each volume across the valley has openings of various shapes and heights, revealing the surface of the valley that scoops up the scenery and landscapes outside.
The visitor chooses their place of residence by looking at the scenery scooped up at that moment and then moves on to a place to read a book or have a meal.
By incorporating the cityscape, a new landscape unique to this place was created in the small site throughout the year. (Lisa Ono)
